Jimbaran’s seaside dining institution, Cuca, recently launched a handcrafted blend of chilies and spices. According to chef-owner Kevin Cherkas, Cuca’s Hot Sauce (Rp75,000/bottle) is made to satisfy the many spice enthusiasts that come their way. Masterfully fermented, blended and smoked, it delivers a kick and depth into any dish. The slow-cooked technique creates a sauce rich in probiotic, ideal to improve one’s digestive health. One thing for sure, the hot sauce is not for the weak. The restaurant also offers ready-to-cook meals such as Roasted Octopus (Rp90,000) and Kevin’s Fried Chicken (Rp60,000).
