Renowned for its devotion to providing guests with authentic experiences that are inextricably tied to Balinese art, tradition, heritage, and cuisine, The Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort and Spa, Nusa Dua, Bali is truly a distinctive five-starred resort. From its sprawling tropical landscape to gourmet fare at Arwana Restaurant, guests will discover an immersive Balinese experience by staying at this charming beachfront establishment.

Executive chef I Made Putra is undoubtedly part of the charm. For more than 25 years, he has overseen all of the resort’s dining venues, in-room dining and banquets. Avidly popular with long-time guests, Putra’s signature touches and love for Indonesian regional cuisine can be tasted at

Arwana Restaurant. Offering a casual beachfront dining experience with authentic flavours and fine ingredients, the restaurant has a creative à la carte selection complemented by a series of daily Indonesian specials written on chalkboards, be it Sop Buntut (braised oxtail soup) or Lontong Sayur (vegetable curry).

He is also in charge of the new Global Explorer Brunch.

With butlered hors d’oeuvre and à la carte selections, the familyfriendly Sunday experience now offers a myriad of international and local inspired dishes. Start with the signature passarounds such as Lemongrass and Chili Cured Butterfish and Oyster Gratin with Sambal Matah Relish before ordering from the menu. Savour the hearty Chilli Crab Fried Rice, Herb-crusted Australian Lamb Chop with Ratatouille and Rosemary Jus, and leave some room for tableside cart serving of Balinese Roasted Pork Belly and Balinese Baked Fish in Pastry Jacket.

Allow the children to have some fun-filled activities of their own while the adults can dine and relax on the alfresco deck. Complimentary access to the resort’s inviting seven swimming pool lagoons and beach facility are also available and highly suitable after the satisfying brunch. Strict hygiene and health protocols are observed throughout the venue. The brunch price starts at Rp 500,000 net/person, inclusive of free-flow nonalcoholic beverages.
