SAY CHEESE TO PLANT-BASED CHEESE

There’s never been a better time to be a vegan. Pea Paneer, a plant-based soft cheese that is locally manufactured in Singapore, is now available to satisfy cheese lovers. Launched by Singapore-based food and agri-commodities multinational Agrocorp under the brand Herbyvore, the alternative cheese has been formulated with minimal processing and comprises only five core ingredients, including pea protein made from peas grown on Canadian farms.

Pea Paneer can be found at NTUC Fairprice Finest stores, the Vegan Grocer, and on online platforms such as Nourishsg and Buzzsg. It is also available in local restaurants such as Yantra, Kailash Parbat and Rang Mahal. Stay tuned for more flavoured and melting cheeses in the coming months, as well as a liquid egg that can be used as a replacement for omelets and scrambled egg.
