BEEF MARANGGI

INGREDIENT­S MARANGGI SKEWER

2000g Angus Beef striploin

50g salt

50g pepper

MARANGGI SAUCE

500g shallots

300g garlic, sliced

80g candlenut, crushed

160g coriander, crushed

80g ginger, sliced

50g turmeric, sliced

100g palm sugar

80g sweet soy sauce

30g salt

20g black pepper

For the skewers, dice the beef and marinate it with salt and pepper.

Put the diced beef into skewers. Grill for about 7 minutes and set it aside.

Saute all of the sauce ingredient­s on low heat except the palm sugar and sweet soy sauce.

Blend the paste. Reheat the paste and add the palm sugar and sweet soy sauce.

Serve the skewers with the sauce. Add rice, grilled tempe and vegetables to complement the dish.
