Exquisite Taste

A new cathedral of flavours

-

An exciting new restaurant has opened in Seminyak, a spacious new venue from the Ginger Moon family and Master Chef Dean Keddell, which presents tempting dishes inspired by Asia with a special twist.

Designed with togetherness in mind, Jackson Lily's has an upstairs dining room with a spacious all-weather balcony that lends itself perfectly to gatherings, parties and private events for up to 100, while downstairs is cooled by air-conditioning and has sofas from which to watch the world go by, a massive table for a large party and various other seating options for groups of all sizes.

The large open kitchen is bustling with busy chefs who have become experts in their own right under Dean's guidance, a pastry display to tempt diners to leave room to indulge and a long bar. The ambience is welcoming, the staff attentive and the food good enough that diners are sure to return.

Using high-quality produce that is predominantly locally sourced, the menu has something for everyone, including sharing menus for two. The salads are innovative and refreshing, the pizza comes on a board by the metre, noodle dishes include mie goreng, “Carbonara” with XO sauce and char sui pork and Hokkien bolognaise, while main dishes range from Asian-style meat balls and sweet & sour pork belly to grilled Australian steaks and teriyaki pork chops. The dumplings are not to be missed, especially the water spinach, which surprisingly resembles an Asian ravioli and is gorgeous. The desserts include artisanal cheeses from Bali, homemade cakes and ice-cream.

The drinks list is also diverse with novel tropical cocktails, fresh juices and a small wine selection. Offering valet parking and having a perfect location for the walk-in crowd, Jackson Lily's is sure to be a hit with both residents and tourists.
