OKU introduces new bento
Japanese food lovers will be enthused to know that OKU Japanese Restaurant has recently introduced new bento boxes. A favourite amongst the city's gourmands and socialites for its exquisite Japanese creations, OKU Japanese restaurant introduced the bento boxes with the on-the-go corporate crowd in mind, who are eager for a simple no-fuss option perfect for quick lunch breaks. The last iteration of the bento boxes marks OKU's anniversary and the Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival.
The three bento boxes are available for lunch hour while only one option is available for dinner time. The bento boxes feature chawan mushi, miso soup, tsukune, tomorokoshi and yassai tempura in addition to a choice of main dishes and dessert. For bento box 1, guests can pick from soba or udon in house-made special stock, chicken teriyaki and sake kama for mains. A choice of sake don, unagi kabayaki and chicken curry is available for bento box 2. The bento box 3, which is also available for dinner time, offers an option of truffle gyu don and Tasmanian salmon sashimi.
