New Michelin-starred Restaurants
Hong Kong, the city that never sleeps, saw a host of new entries into this year's Michelin Guide when it was revealed at the Grand Hyatt Macau last December, taking the total to an impressive 63.
Demonstrating the city's rise to gastronomic prominence, Hong Kong now boasts seven restaurants with the coveted three stars, 12 with two and 44 with a one-star rating, cementing its place as one of the best dining destinations in the world.
In the top flight, Caprice regained its three-star status after losing it when former executive chef Vincent Thierry departed in 2014, whilst Écriture and Sushi Saito were elevated to two stars. There are five new one-star additions including Arbor and Belon and the New Punjab Club, the first Pakistani restaurant to win a star in Hong Kong.
