Exquisite Taste

OSO RISTORANTE INDONESIA

-

The glamorous ambience, crystal chandeliers, rococo-inspired décor and warm service at Oso Ristorante Indonesia set the scene for memorable meals with loved ones. The wine list includes 200 wine labels from 60 Italian regions, the meat is dry-aged in-house and, uniquely in Indonesia, there is a dedicated, temperature-controlled cheese chamber with a fine selection of Italian treasures.

The extensive menu showcases the soul of Italian cuisine, from artisanal pizzas, to signature pastas, Puglia’s best seafood, fine meats and more. Everything is thoughtfully sourced, seasonal, sustainable produce that prioritises the farm-to-table concept, with the wild-caught fresh fish kept in Oso’s fish tanks.

Starters include Chef Nazario’s selection of cold cuts and pickles, a wonderful fresh spinach salad with honey mustard dressing and the incredible porcini soup with truffle oil. The artisanal pizzas have exotic toppings like uni, crab and burrata topped with garlic butter, as well as gold-dusted foie gras and caviar.

The squid ink, amaebi prawn and calamari nero risotto is another popular option, as is the Al Sale whole, 1kg sea barramundi cooked in a sea salt crust and the 1kg Sher wagyu tomahawk steak from Australia. However, if choosing is just too difficult, take the incredible five-course set menu.

A cheese platter is the best way to end a meal at Oso Ristorante Indonesia; we suggest you ask the chef for advice, but if it is available do try the Sottocenere, a semifirm cheese studded with truffles aged in a rind of ash and spices that evokes delicate aromas of cinnamon and nutmeg.
