Set in the heart of Sanur village, Maya Sanur Resort & Spa's attractive design draws the eye, while its tasty fare draws in diners. Perfectly located for people watching is Graze, the resort's all-day venue, decorated in green, yellow and white to emulate Bali's famed natural beauty.

Outside are comfortable green and yellow chairs made of up-cycled waste polypropylene and wood fibre – a sign of the resort's strong belief in nurturing the island – set around wooden tables. Inside is airconditioned comfort with walls inspired by an origami design and highlighted in pale lemon and lime.

A selection of excellent European-style breads and cakes, some tweaked with local flavours, baked fresh every day is presented at the counter, ready to be devoured at Graze or taken out for a treat with friends and family. Definitely not to be missed, these sweet treats are even better taken with a one of the locally sourced coffees or a refreshing hot or iced tea.

In addition to the allure of the cake counter is an extensive choice of tempting savoury classics from around the globe, all served in hearty portions. One of the specialities is the seven international breakfasts, including

English, Indonesian, Japanese, European and Scandinavian favourites, as well as an à la carte breakfast selection, all served all day, so if you're craving eggs benedict, bacon and eggs or cinnamon scented waffles call in at Graze to indulge your taste buds at any time.

In addition to the breakfasts are so many international temptations that it is hard to make your choice. The menu ranges from small plates to share, through to internationally popular sandwiches like the Reuben, spicy tuna and steak, wraps – do try the chicken quesadilla – and on to healthy, vibrant salads including Thai-style chargrilled squid, house-smoked salmon and green tea noodle.

For the more carnivorous, there are imported steaks and fish on hot stones, plenty of burgers, including the gargantuan prime tenderloin burger with its 150g Australian beef, double cheddar and more. Local favourites and pasta round off the choices, with plenty of vegetarian and health-conscious options throughout.

With its range of classic cocktails, mocktails and local wines, and plenty of takeaway food options, Graze is a popular choice for in-house and walk-in guests and offers a welcoming ambience for holidaymakers, get-togethers and gatherings of all nationalities.
