Indonesia Design - Defining Luxury
Interior Design for A Better Future
Celebrating the 30th anniversary of IMDI ITB (Bandung Institute of Technology’s Interior Design Students Association), an exhibition was held in the Bandung Creative Hub. It aimed to heighten people’s awareness of global issues related with interior design in the future, specifically in 2045, Indonesia’s centennial.
Three main topics in the exhibition were: space and hi-tech materials, limited space and changes in human behaviour. These topics were communicated through the main displays and art installations, targeting the young generations, interior design practitioners and students, people of the creative industry and Bandung citizens in general. Sub- events included a talk show, an art bazaar and musical performances. Preevents included workshops of “Watercolor Interior Rendering” by an alumnus Yandi Prayudhi and “Designing A Living Space in the Future” by lecturers of ITB’S Interior Design.
