A collective of 12 Indonesian interior designers, ID12, just launched their book “Maison 12 Designers Suite Apartment: Indonesia’s Heritage Through the Eyes of ID12” as a collaboration with The Colours of Indonesia. This is the third book by The Colours of Indonesia, and it is a manifestation of the success of ID12’S exhibition “Maison 12 Designer Suite Apartment” at Senayan City in September 2018. The ID12 designers are Agam Riadi, Anita Boentarman, Ary Juwono, Eko Priahrseno, Joke Roos, Sammy Hendramianto, Presetio Budhi, Reza Wahyudi, Roland Adam, Shirley Gouw, Vivianne Faye and Yuni Jie.`

This coffee table book not only celebrates and features impeccable and modern interior design; it also showcases the incredible spirit of Indonesia’s rich and diverse heritage in an elegant and contemporary manner through beautiful photos in its thick, glossy pages. The 172-page book has different sections that coincides with the several units showcased at the event. This includes The Spirit of Sumba as the Marketing Gallery, The Mystical Papua as the one-bedroom show unit, The Voyage of Borneo as the two-bedroom show unit, and The Soul of Java as the three-bedroom show unit. To better understand an interior designer’s train of thought and design process when creating a space, and to learn how to apply Indonesia’s heritage in design, this book is the perfect example.
