Head Pieces of Indonesia

As part of the 16th Jakarta Fashion and Food Festival (JFFF), world-famous Indonesian accessories designer Rinaldy Yunardi had a special fashion show entitled “Aku Untukmu Indonesia” (I am for you Indonesia). The show featured his collection of exquisite head pieces, all inspired by provinces in Indonesia. His work is renowned worldwide and has been worn by Hollywood celebrities such as Madonna, Ariana Grande and Beyonce, just to name a few.

This show was a special, highlighted event at JFFF, and it began with an awards show, where prominent people who paved the way for the Indonesian fashion industry were given awards to thank them for their work. A total of 35 head pieces were featured at his show, which represents all 34 provinces of Indonesia, and 1 special piece called “Ibu Pertiwi” (mother earth).
