Domisilium Studio: A Decade of Design Wanderlust

Founded in 2009, Domisilium Studio is one of Indonesia’s prominent interior design firms known for their unique design style seen on different types of projects across the country such as hotels, restaurants, residences and more. This special book was launced to celebrate

their 10th anniversary.

Such a quirky and fun book, just like Santi Alaysius and Hamphrey Tedja, Domisilium Studio’s founders. The book dives deep into the firm’s biggest and best projects to date, along with a catchup interview with each project’s collaborators. 16 projects with the most beautifully eclectic designs are highlighted, and Domisilium Studio’s style is evident in each one of them. Some of the projects include Marriott Yogyakarta, Gojek Office, Modena Indonesia, Artotel Yogkayarta, Belly Bandit, and more. Every page of the book also includes little hand-written notes and sketches by Santi and Hamphrey.

The book begins with the history of Santi and Hamphrey’s special friendship, which led to the establishment of their now-famous firm ten years ago. From Chicago all the way to Indonesia, their vision for design and their future matched perfectly. Their ten-year journey would not have been the same if it weren’t for the firm’s several friends and inspirations throughout the years, as well as each member of Domisilium Studio, who are all acknowledged in the book. Domisilium Studio: A Decade of Design Wanderlust is not only a beautifully designed book filled with design inspirations, moodboards, sketches and photos, it is also a 325-page mindmap and a massive thank you note made by Santi and Hamphrey.
