A total of 71 finalists from Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, and Germany have been chosen to go into the shortlist for the awards, with 64 finalists for the Golden Pin Design Award and seven finalists for the Golden Pin Concept Design Award. These finalists are now all in the running to win the Best Design award and a TWD$1,200,000 (approx. USD$39,000) prize at the awards ceremony on 5 December 2019 which will be held in Taipei, Taiwan.
