During the latest season of MasterChef Australia, an Indonesian culinary star was born. Originally from Surabaya, Jess is one of the youngest contestants ever to make it to the finals of MasterChef Australia. Fresh out of the MasterChef studio, she can’t wait to spend the entire Festive Season at Raffles Jakarta to delight our guests with her signature dishes.

There are many events with Jess to enjoy through Christmas, and it all leads up to the main feature event: The MasterChef New Year’s Eve Celebration! Get a unique inside look into MasterChef and enjoy this special New Year’s Eve dinner accompanied by live music, free flow wines, beer and selected cocktails. After dinner, a spectacular open-air Countdown Party awaits you on the 14th floor. Watch the fireworks on the Jakarta skyline while you dance the night away to the tunes of the DJ. Our children are our future. This year Raffles Jakarta is proud to partner with Happy Hearts Indonesia. Happy Hearts is a non-profit organisation that envisions every child in Indonesia has access to education by attending safe and earthquake-resistant schools. Happy Hearts Indonesia is dedicated to rebuilding schools and restoring hope and opportunity in the lives of children in underprivileged areas. The Writers Bar has been aging a Negroni in an oak barrel for the last one year especially for Happy Hearts Indonesia. If you order the “Happy Heart Aged Negroni” at the Writers Bar all proceeds of the beverage will go to this valuable cause.
