The Art of Juxtaposition
There’s nothing we love more than seeing the wildly beautiful contrast of a raw safari space with decadence and grandeur. Julian and Wendy’s celebration was filled with unexpected details, artfully executed with purpose and to perfection.
The table scape of greeneries and fruits, dramatic installations of jewel toned blooms lined walls and ran parallel to tables intentionally void of decor and finished with mix and match wooden and ghosts chairs. Blending classicism with modernity, Wendy chose a chic silhouette by Sebastian Gunawan, accented dedicated beads details, and finished with a sculptural bouquet that played on darkness and light; edge and elegance. Doing justice to every carefully considered detail was one of our favourite photographers, Agung Mulyajaya from IMAJ. The Bride said, “We are obsessed & can’t take our eyes off with today’s botanical themed wedding at the safari. The safari park was creatively transformed into an appealing array of colours; jewelled colours of fruits & shades of refreshing greens”. The bride’s amazing custom-made dress complimented the wild & natural look of the stalls, this wedding was completely and utterly one of a kind. And the towering & glistening wedding cake! It was specially hand-made designed for the couple. We completely adored from the booth with giant garland, ivy entwined swing and a tepee to the animals on display & interacting with the guests. Loved it!!!
