As Hue Lights Its Citadel, La Residence Lights Its BBQ
Things are brightening at night in the old imperial capital of Vietnam at Hue, and will stay that way all summer long. Pivoting off the authorities’ decision to open and illuminate the Imperial City from 7-10 pm daily, starting 22 April, La Residence Hue Hotel& Spa is launching Hue Glow, a new package that combine san evening’ s visit to the UNESCO-recognized palace, ada yon the beach, and a barbecue on the beach, to boot. HueGlow also includes two night’s accommodation in a superior room with daily breakfast at La Residence, one of Vietnam’s most acclaimed hotels. In the offer’s two-night package, the hotel ushers guests into the East Asian Wonderland of the UNESCO World Heritage site’s Imperial City, the seat of the Nguyen Empire from 1804 to 1945. The tour takes in the monumental South Gate, the Palace of Supreme Harmony, and the Forbidden Purple City. The following day, the hotel whisks HueGlow guests in a private car out to Thuan An Beach on the East Sea. A private beachfront facility provides shade, comfort and other necessities for a day on the beach. As the sun sinks, the barbecue starts glowing as hotel chefs prepare a private dinner for two of hand-picked seafood, meats and salads. HueGlow costs US $637 (VND 14.3 million) for the two-night stay of double occupancy and is valid through 31 October 2017.
