the Jakarta-based Ambassador of Paraguay to Southeast Asia, and Yulie Nasution Setyohadi celebrated their wedding with an Indonesian-themed
reception. A red and white décor welcomed the more than 1,000 relatives, friends and dignitaries who attended the joyful event in kebayas and suits. The
bride wore a hand-sewn white lace kebaya by Andre Frankie, adorned with Swarovski elements. Yulie’s artistic talents were apparent in the floral arrangements, mosaic vases and dinnerware from Y&D Setyohadi
Porcelain Painting, an artistic collaboration between the bride and her first daughter, Dara Setyohadi. The happy couple encouraged the international crowd of guests to immerse themselves in the richness of
Indonesian and Latino cultures. A traditional welcome dance and gondang
from South Sumatra were presented. The groom performed a Latino duet with the bride’s youngest daughter, Claudia Setyohadi. The Dwiki Dharmawan Orchestra serenaded the guests throughout the joyous evening.
