MANDARIN ORIENTAL JAKARTA celebrates the holiday season by offering a range of exciting choices. Guests have the opportunity to enjoy a fantastic weekend getaway, partake in fun activities and indulge in culinary creations designed to capture the spirit of the festive season.
The hotel invites guests to celebrate Christmas with Chef Thierry Le Quéau’s at Lyon Brasserie. Delectable classics such as roasted Christmas turkey with chestnuts, prepared based the Chef’s mother’s recipe, and the traditional Christmas Bûche de Noël with butter cream will be served. Christmas Eve Dinner at Lyon is priced from Rp 988,000 per person and lunch from Rp 788,000 on Christmas Day. As the city comes alive on New Year’s Eve, all Mandarin Oriental Jakarta outlets will offer celebratory menus. Lyon will offer a range of French delicacies and a magic act for entertainment on New Year Eve’s from Rp 1.188 million, and Rp 488,000 per person on New Year’s Day.
To treat the family to a sumptuous Christmas feast, Cinnamon restaurant offers an extravagant buffet with the theme “Christmas Market – A Truly Unforgettable Atmosphere”. The restaurant will serve mulled wine with a selection of seasonal Christmasthemed treats including toasted turkey, sweet pumpkin pie, classic stollen, panettone, pudding, yule log and minced pie. Santa Claus will pay the guests a visit and present special gifts to the little ones at the restaurant. The Christmas themed menus will be available on December 24 for dinner and December 25 for brunch, priced at Rp 518,000++ per person.
Executive Chinese Chef Jeff Lee will supervise a six-course set dinner menu at Xin Hwa. Guests can enjoy the restaurant’s signature Pekingstyle roasted whole duckling, which entails three days of preparation and is carved and served tableside, along with traditional garnishes including oldfashioned pancake and steamed Bao buns, homemade Hoisin sauce, cucumbers and scallions. The set menu is available on Christmas Eve and is priced from Rp 488,000 per person. On Christmas Day, Xin Hwa offers yum cha morning tea at Rp 258,000++.
The hotel offers a Christmas Holiday Package that includes an overnight stay in a room or suite with panoramic views of the city skyline, breakfast at Cinnamon restaurant and 20% savings at all dining outlets and signature massages at the Fitness and Wellness centre, plus late check-out until 4 pm. The rates begin at Rp 1.988 million per night and are valid from December 19-30 and January 1-11. Guests who stay for two consecutive nights will also enjoy a complimentary third night. The hotel’s New Year’s Eve package includes a bespoke dinner at the hotel’s signature restaurants, breakfast and complimentary high-speed Internet access. The package is priced from Rp 5.388 million.
Holiday goodies such as American chocolate cake and traditional dessert items, such as yule log, minced pie and stolen, are all available at the Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop. Festive hampers are available for purchase from November 24 and are priced from Rp 1.99 million.
