THE OFFICIAL LAUNCH of the much anticipated Samsung GALAXY Note 4 was held at the lavish Hermitage Hotel on Wednesday, October 22. The exclusive A-list party was hosted by Amalia Wirjono, Leeyen Wijaya, Nadia Mulya, Giri Sumantri, Ted Sulisto, Mandy Budiman, Rahmah Umayya, Dimas Beck, and Erwin Parengkuan. The guests, all dressed in white, were welcomed to experience the Samsung GALAXY Note 4 first-hand, using its S-Pen to order cocktails and its 3.7 MP front facing wide-angle camera to take perfect group selfies.
The latest product of Samsung’s GALAXY Note lineup is completed with new upgrades in its features: a more sensitive S-Pen, wide-angle selfie shot, multi-tasking ability and voice recording. Among the multi-
tasking features offered by the Samsung GALAXY Note 4 is the ability of its Photo Note to can recognize the user’s handwriting and transform it into a text, which can later be corrected using the S-Note or Scrapbook.
Combining art and technology, live mannequins displaying gowns featuring S-Pen fashion art – fabric patterns designed using the S-Pen – welcomed guests into the ballroom, where they were served a buffet dinner. Vebbyna Kaunang, Marketing Director IM Business Samsung Electronics Indonesia, gave the opening speech, welcoming the guests and introducing them to the Samsung GALAXY Note 4. The highlight of the event was a showcase of Samsung’s high-tech LED mirror, which left the guests in awe when it projected prints onto the guests’ clothes.
The evening also included performances by Lala Karmela, Dennis Junio, Ava Victoria, Tomorrow People Ensemble, and piano maestro Andi Rianto, who grabbed the guests’ attention by playing his rendition of Samsung’s theme song. Also, in collaboration with Mont Blanc, five Samsung GALAXY Note 4 Mont Blanc sets comprising Montblanc phone sleeves and Montblanc S-Pens were up for auction. All proceeds from the sale went to Sahabat Rumah Pandai. The night concluded with entertainment by DJ Anton Wirjono.
