More than 400 guests attended the Spanish National Day celebrations at the Spanish Embassy on Monday, October 13. Welcoming the guests, Ambassador Francisco Jose Viqueira Niel said: “My mission as ambassador is to foster best possible relations and diplomatic communication with Indonesia. I was told to focus more on improving the economic side of our bilateral relationship, and I will do just that.” The Spanish and Indonesian national anthems were played, a cake-cutting ceremony took place, and the guests feasted on quintessential Spanish and Indonesian dishes.
