HAVEN OF serenity and luxury in Kuningan, Gran Meliá Jakarta is inspired by its Spanish heritage. The hotel won a “Best City Hotel” award in the 27th TTG Travel Awards 2016, held in Bangkok. It offers four types of rooms: two presidential suites, 33 suites, Red Level rooms, 217 premium rooms and 99 deluxe rooms. With a surface area of roughly 45sqm in size, the rooms feature ergonomic work chair, marble bathroom and walk-in shower. All rooms and suites boast LED TV with satellite TV and free Wi-Fi.
The hotel has five dining destinations. Lobby Lounge offering a global wine list, cocktails and beers as well as a selection of coffees and teas. There is Café Gran Via which opens 24 hours daily. Tien Chao emphasises on classic Cantonese and Szechuan flavours. The Japanese dining destination include Yoshi Izakaya helmed by Chef Yoshi Izakaya. Last but not least, El Bombón with its open terrace offering a selection of pastries. Other facilities include YHI Spa with six indoor treatment rooms, steam bath and Jacuzzi, a gym and outdoor swimming pool.
To celebrate Christmas and New Year, the hotel is offering seasonal promotions start with Christmas Eve Dinner on December 24 and Christmas Brunch on December 25. The culinary team at the 407-room hotel will prepare festive favourites like roast Christmas turkey with walnut apple stuffing, maple glazed potatoes with cranberry sauce and giblet gravy, salmon Wellington and Christmas dessert.
For the last night of 2016, there will be a sit-down dinner in the Lobby Lounge, with entertainment by a top 40 band and dancing. The main performer is ADA Band, which will perform hits such as “Kau Auraku”, “Manusia Bodoh” and “Karena Wanita”.
The main vocalist, Donnie Sibarani, will lead the countdown to the first day of 2017. To enjoy the show, guests can enjoy the gala buffet dinner, priced from Rp 1.2 million +++.
Guest also be able to enjoy dinner at Tien Chao, where Chef Eric will create a set dinner for 588.000++, or at Yoshi Izakaya with Chef Ito’s specialties at Rp 528.000++.
