Lumikasa has introduced Ramun eye-protection lamps. Designed by Alessandro Mendini, the lamps made their debut during Milan Design Week in 2013. Mendini’s philosophy in creating the Ramun Amuleto desk lamp is the three rings that symbolise the harmony of the sun, moon and earth. The Amuleto has been made part of the permanent collection at The Pinakothek der Moderne Contemporary Art Museum in Munich. Amuleto lamps are optimised for eye protection. The ring-shaped light-emitting part reduces shadows to a minimum and the lamps do not produce UV and IR radiation, flickering or heat.
