Set in a barren landscape, where the architectural lines of concrete walls are warmed by the colours of the desert, Jennifer Lawrence posed as the embodiment of liberated femininity for Dior’s Cruise 2019 campaign. Inspired by escaramuzas, an all-female sport within charrería - the mexican equivalent of rodeo - the collection features dresses and petticoats embellished with traditional embroidery that reflects the gracious and powerful spirit of these mexican horsewomen. To complete the equestrian look, the Saddle bag is reinvented in patchwork or Dior oblique canvas.
