BVLGARI-BVLGARI

Anything but conventional

- bulgari.com

TO B OR NOT TO B? That’s the question Bvlgari is asking this season as it adds a new wave of jewels to its iconic Bvlgari-Bvlgari collection. Contemporary and cool, these colourful pieces have been designed with a new generation in mind, for women who love to stack, mix and match their jewels. From single stud earrings set with hard stones to mouth-watering ice lollipops with a cheeky bite taken out of one corner, they are anything but conventional.

The Bvlgari-Bvlgari collection hardly needs an introduction. The first Bvlgari-Bvlgari watch was launched in 1977 and initiated the use of the Bvlgari logo with the original Roman “V” on a watch. With the words Bvlgari Roma etched around the bezel, inspired by the inscriptions encircling ancient coins, Bvlgari-Bvlgari was, and remains, a classic symbol of the house.

Jewels were introduced into the collection in 1996, starting with slender gold bangles and rings. Further expanding the collection, Roman Sorbets jewels were added in 2016, bringing the colours of Italy’s favourite frozen treat to life with candybright pink tourmalines, amethysts, sapphires and tsavorites set in gold.

Classic Jewels

The new Bvlgari-Bvlgari Classic jewels, all in 18k rose gold, offer endless ways to personalise your look and introduce opaque hard stones into the collection for the first time.

The Bvlgari-Bvlgari jewels are one of the most instantly recognisable designs from the Roman house. The double logo broke convention in its day by boldly making the stark logotype a decorative element in watches and jewels. This historic milestone, and display of Bvlgari’s individuality and bravado, is today enriched with colour.

The eight-piece collection encourages playfulness with single earrings, open bangles and a unique spinning ring for two distinctly stylish looks. Taking its design cue from the BvlgariBvlgari Cuore jewels of 2015, the ring reveals two colourful faces.

Four slim-line bangles can be colour coordinated depending on your mood. The green malachite, red carnelian and black jade versions offer a wristful of colourful options, while the all-white mother of pearl bangle is the ultimate summer-all-year-round jewel.

Completing the Bvlgari-Bvlgari Classic range are five cute stud earrings in white mother of pearl, black onyx, red carnelian, green malachite and a pavé of diamonds.

Bvlgari Gelati

The new Bvlgari-Bvlgari Gelati jewels are a continuation of the sweet-toothed theme first created by Bvlgari in the 1980s, featuring ice cream and lollipop brooches set with precious gems. Later came the Roman Sorbets range of 2016 that, in turn, inspired these new Gelati jewels.

Brought to life in smooth mother of pearl, malachite and onyx, each bracelet, brooch and ring features a Gelati lollipop. Though small in size, these Gelati are an evocative reminder of the Italian nation’s contagious and exuberant love of life.

Part of the wider trend for personalisation, brooches are firmly back in fashion. Pin one of the Bvlgari-Bvlgari Gelati designs to your jacket lapel or the pocket of a shirt – available in white mother of pearl or black onyx – to create a look of your very own.

Two bracelets delicately encircle the wrist, joined by a striped green malachite or iridescent white mother of pearl Gelati motif. Three open rings in malachite, mother of pearl and onyx complete the range.

Eyewear

Characterised by a flipping décor to reveal one’s mood, the must-have new eyewear is pepped up with a contemporary and angular silhouette where the iconic Bvlgari-Bvlgari logo stands out through playful and multicoloured details. Black or white, malachite green or carnelian red: have fun choosing the colour that best suits you!
