FOR THE SECOND YEAR in a row, BWT was a proud sponsor of the Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix in September. The brand chose Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa as the main venue, creating an installation space filled with one-of-a-kind technologies and products from BWT, along with a showcase of the company’s history.
From the airport, it took less than a 30 minutes to reach the hotel on the fun island of Sentosa. At the lobby, Prestige was welcomed by a bright pink backdrop with a blue sign that stated: “Speed with BWT”.
BWT is a leading water technology company. The Austrian firm supplies private establishments and the general public with innovative, economical and ecological technologies that guarantee pristine water. BWT provides state-of-the-art water treatment technologies and services for drinking water, pharmaceutical water, processed water – you name it, they have it.
In Indonesia, BWT is championing domestic solutions to provide clean, safe and hygienic water for all. Its product offerings cater to all water needs, ranging from entry and consumer level to large industries.
“BWT understands the water problems in Indonesia. That’s why we come with a wide range of products to provide solutions to this pressing issue. Our products reach all the aspects of water - clean water for daily use, safe and hygienic water to be consumed, and the luxury of having silky-soft hygienic pearl water for skin and beauty,” said Catherine Chew, General Manager of BWT Indonesia.
As a clear indicator of a strong partnership between BWT and the Formula 1 Force India team since 2017, BWT was given the free range to revamp the racecars. The results were striking cars in pink, magenta, and silver. This activity represented BWT’s first big involvement in Formula One. BWT’s presence was further reinforced with BWT pink helmets of Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon, perfect complements to the unique BWT pink car.
“The collaboration is an important part of our globalisation strategy and will dynamically increase awareness of our brand around the world. We share with Formula 1, the premier league of motor sport, the passion we show every day in trying to achieve the best possible standards for our elixir of life, H2O, enabling us to meet the demanding requirements for quality, health, safety and hygiene and drive the development of new technologies,” said Andreas Weißenbacher, BTW’s CEO.
The event took place on the Marina Bay Street Circuit. The presentation also saw some customers and consultants joining BWT for a day out at the racetrack. Everyone enjoyed a supercharged day that included live musical performances from The Killers, Dua Lipa, and Martin Garrix, including a tour through the circuit and the experience of seeing the race right up close.
