Driven by Nature

Balinese artist Putu Sutawijaya, long a revered figure in Indonesia’s art scene, has unveiled his latest collection of works titled “Earthscape.” The solo exhibition, which featured 18 paintings and three sculptures, was held on Saturday, October 6 in Can’s Gallery, Jakarta. Prestige was also present as official media partner. Speaking of what inspired his works, Sutawijaya mentioned his fondness of nature and how “it encourages me to create.” The “Earthscape” exhibition was officiated by Vivianne Faye, and was hosted by Linda Thohir and Liza Thohir.
