Irwan and Shinta Kamdani welcomed good friends and esteemed colleagues to their wonderful residence in South Jakarta to celebrate the Year of the Metal Rat during Cap Go Meh. Held on Saturday, February 8, the magnificent festive party marked the final day of the Chinese New Year celebrations. Irwan in a splendid tang suit and Shinta in a gorgeous cheongsam greeted the smartly attired guests, who wore Chinese traditional costumes and red-themed outfits. The night became more and more jubilant as a series of artistic performances followed each other on the stage, starting with a suitably noisy and energetic lion dance to bring everyone good luck and fortune. This was followed by a performance of Shanghai 1920, and the evening continued with traditional music and dancing. The guests sang along and danced together during an evening to remember.
