BITS AND PIECES
Since 1837, Hermès has been crafting metal and leather to manufacture harnesses, buckles and bits. In 1927, these forms of expertise inspired the house to create its first piece of jewellery, the Filet de Selle bracelet, which consisted of a miniature silver bit on a leather strap. Since then, the harness-making theme has never ceased to be an inspiration for pieces like the Gambade double ring, in rose gold and set with two diamonds.
