Classic Reinvented
The Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is an international association of gastronomy established in more than 80 countries. It is one of the world’s oldest fine-dining society. Among the Bailliage of Indonesia’s most recent gatherings was a Chaine dinner, which took place at The Dining Room at Raffles Jakarta, on Thursday, February 20. The Dining Room is one of a kind culinary venue that enables guests to experience the latest culinary trends from all over the world. It features a show kitchen where guests can walk through and interact with the chefs. The dinner was curated by the Michelin Star Chef Kirk Westaway of Jaan Singapore and the menu itself featured reinvented English classics such as Fish and Chips and English Garden, an artful plate of more than 30 vegetables, herbs and edible flowers.
