THE FRINGE CONNECTION

Titled Surreal Glamour, the Fall/Winter 2020 collection from Prada is a meditation on femininity. It shows how women can be strong and feminine at the same time. These “clichés of feminity” pieces are paired with pieces that are traditionally considered masculine. Case in point: A boxy belted jacked was paired with a fringed skirt while bib-front shirts were glammed up with crystal suspenders from the shoulder.
