A Subtle Sparkle

For of its 60th anniversary, Grand Seiko created the Masterpiece Collection Spring Drive 8 Days Jewelry Watch, whose design takes inspiration from tiny ice crystals that shimmer on a cold morning in the Shinshu region. The Japanese brand magically highlights the tones of the aforementioned morning with 96 diamonds and 25 blue sapphires on the dial. More importantly, the diamonds act as minute markers and blue sapphires designate each hour so that the time can be read at a glance. Without doubt, its dazzling dial with “diamond dust” texture marks it out as one of the most precious works of art yet created by Grand Seiko.
