SUMMER BREEZES
With sculptural pineapple motifs enhanced by subtle relief effects and delicate plays on transparency as the main theme, Cordelia de Castellane added the joys of a summer breeze to the new line of objects of Dior Maison. The tropical fruit — a timeless symbol of sunshine that became the central motif in a Dior tableware collection from the summer of 1973 — is reinterpreted and enhanced by the beauty of Italian blown glass, reflecting exceptional craftsmanship. Refined shades of green and ochre adorn a carafe, a vase and a precious decorative bubble.
