BEACHSIDE PARADISE

-

Named after the Persian word for “heaven,” Minoo Beach Club (+62 812 4674 9381) has opened its door in idyllic Melasti Beach, Ungasan, Bali. Heavily inspired by bohemian culture, the beachside seats a hundred guests in the restaurant and also has 38 sun loungers as well as seating for 15 in the alfresco dining area. Minoo also offers direct beach access as well as a swimming pool. Helming the kitchen is Chef Robby Fahmi Kurniawan who has nine years of experience in the industry. He has created a specialty menu that merges classic Western flavours with those of Asia. “Minoo’s specialty is seafood, as the space on which the beach club sits was once a fishing village,” says the chef. “It is our history that we’ve used to draw inspiration for most of the menu, as well as its interior – the restaurant itself is a former fishing boat.” In light of COVID-19, the beach club has introduced strict protocols to ensure guests’ safety and health, such as reducing the venue’s capacity, mask wearing requirements, cashless payment and temperature checks on entry.
