Kevin Maharis shares his experience discovering how the SAMSUNG GALAXY Z FOLD2 fiTS INTO HIS LIFESTYLE IN THIS NEW NORMAL ERA
Lockdowns and slowdowns are daily realities at the moment, but for Dr. Kevin Maharis, Medical Director at Maharis Clinic, the new normal is anything but slow. “I still work full time,” he remarks, noting that his medical facility still caters to patients albeit with stricter safety protocols while most meetings are done virtually. “At home I exercise daily,” Kevin adds. “Cardio, weights and yoga.”
To that end, the day-to-day routines of someone who maintains such an active lifestyle no matter what presents the perfect proving ground for the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2. This, naturally, includes the new phone’s design, and for an aesthetic physician of Kevin’s caliber, surely the aesthetics of his mobile companion matters. This is where the Galaxy Z Fold2’s refined design comes into play. At the same time, it remains a convenient gadget. “I am a very efficient person, so If I can simplify all my tasks with just one device that accommodates most, if not all, of my needs, that is a big plus point for me,” Kevin observes. “I have no problem fitting it into my pocket, taking it everywhere with me.”
Speaking of convenience, the Galaxy Z Fold2’s Flex mode and Dual Preview are, according to
Kevin, “game changers” when it comes to taking selfies or having your picture taken. The phone’s spacious screen when unfolded, is another huge advantage. “I hardly see the need to open my laptop anymore. Once folded out is pretty much a mini laptop that I can carry everywhere with me,” Kevin continues. He then adds how he uses it in conjunction with the Multi-Active Window feature: “At this period, we do a lot of online consultation. The Multi-Active window is particularly useful while doing this, as I can give advice while looking at the patient progress photographs and even do research on the patient conditions at the same time.”
The same features that is so useful at work is also great for leisure. Or in Kevin’s case, for exercise. “Eighty percent of my exercises these days are mobile-based,” he elaborates. “I have my favourite yoga instructors and cardio classes all saved up on YouTube. The foldable feature is particularly useful as I can just put down the phone folded in front of my yoga mat and start practicing right away.”
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 was designed to, in a surprisingly literal way, change the shape of the future. And when it was launched, the phone certainly pushed the boundaries of mobile experiences. Going by Kevin Maharis’ experience, it’s safe to say that the Galaxy Z Fold2 has certainly done so and more.
