BACKSTORY
To celebrate its 175th anniversary, A. Lange & Söhne has introduced a special set of three limited-edition models from the 1815 watch family in honey-gold cases, namely the 1815 Thin Honeygold, the Tourbograph Perpetual Honeygold and the 1815 Rattrapante Honeygold. The newly developed 1815 Rattrapante Honeygold “Homage to F. A. Lange” puts the focus on the eponymous complication that allows lap-time measurements. To that end, the complex rattrapante mechanism is located on the movement side of the new L101.2 manually wound calibre. Aside to that, the watch also highlights the honey-gold case – which is paired with a black dial in solid silver case for the first time – that showcases its modern and captivating look. All in all, this special watch surely reflects the manufacture’s ambition to never stand still.
