THE PAPER LETTER

Virgil Abloh’s newest collection of Men’s leather goods for Louis Vuitton takes its name and inspiration from the Aerogram, a paper letter sent by airmail that is folded to form a lightweight envelope. The LV Aerogram collection is specially crafted in black grained leather and features clear-cut, almost architectural, lines with bias-cut edges. The bags boast heritage-inspired details such as cloth straps recalling those found inside Louis Vuitton’s historic trunks and embossed leather luggage tags while maintaining an elegant, contemporary, and understated look.
