Grace Kelly’s granddaughter, Charlotte Casiraghi, has been named Chanel’s brand ambassador for 2021. The Monégasque royal is a natural choice, as a love for fashion runs in the family. And these are long-time Chanel devotees with Princess Caroline being a close friend of Karl Lagerfeld. Chanel’s official Instagram account celebrated Casiraghi’s new role and revealed that she will star in the campaign for the brand’s Spring/Summer 2021 Ready-to-Wear collection and will be unveiling “Les Rendez-vous littéraires rue Cambon” along with the house and Virginie Viard. The literary event will be held monthly in Coco Chanel’s private apartments above the brand’s flagship boutique.
