Seeing Through the Future

Panasonic recently released the Transparent OLED Module, a 55-inch transparent TV that boasts high image visibility. It is highly versatile – perfect for homes but also ideal for commercial venues. The TV uses a self-illuminating transparent OLED display which offers high transparency as well as vivid colours. A key component is the dimming unit, which was developed by the company to adjust the amount of light passing through the panel in order to maintain high contrast and clearly display images even when the TV is placed in a brightly lit environment.
