SINCE 1956, RODO has consistently designed and created products that are not only stylish and elegant but also suitable for all occasions by merging tradition with a future-focused approach. For the brand’s Fall 2021 collection, the mission remains the same.
For bag afficionados, RODO presents a new collection of daytime bags with its iconic weave that is expressed with different materials, including calfskin woven with shearling for the timeless Paris bag or the net material for the Lunch bag and the soft Millie Clutch Bag.
This season also puts the spotlight on pleated Nappa leather with lateral metal tubes that gives shoulder bags a grittier look. Meanwhile, animal patterns are used for daytime bags in pony skin which are then embellished with strass for a rich and romantic evening out. Satin together with lace wrap the elegant Amelia Clutch Bag beautifully, and the geometric Giza Bag is dressed in delicate satin pleats or completely covered with Swarovski crystals.
Moving on to shoes, Nappa and printed pony skin takes centre stage for sensual, feminine day looks, while gold with spun lace and full crystal come out for cocktails in the evening.
Case in point: the Knot Sandal, which is available both in flat and comfortable mirrored heels, tells the story of high manufacturing and the artistry of the famous RODO artisans. The Combat Boots, with its modern and refined attitude, showcase a flat-form look and are made with soft, brushed calfskin for a more formal approach, or in shearling naplack for colder days.
In terms of slippers, this season sees the use of shearling and natural naplack that are perfect for both indoor and outdoor occasions. Available in basic colours of black and white, there are enveloping loafer models as well as modern, squared-toe sabot sandals.
