Independent spirit

Creative Director Loewe Jonathan Anderson tapped photographer Juergen Teller for Loewe’s Amazona bag fall/winter 2021 campaign. The Amazona was originally launched in 1975, and was inspired by the practical and independent spirit of the moment. With the campaign, Loewe is capturing the inclusive spirit of our time with a dynamic cast of actors, artists, writers and musicians, we celebrate the iconic design as a symbol of independence and modern practicality. Photographed in London is award-winning The Crown actress Gillian Anderson, who dons a mustard yellow eye mask and shaggy coat with a black Amazona.
