IN THE CLOUDS

Louis Vuitton presented its Cruise 2022 campaign, exploring a future full of promises. Captured by fashion photographer Carlijn Jacobs, the campaign sees models Akon Changkou, Chu Wong, Denise Ascuet, Evie Sanders, Fleur Breijer, Grace Valentione and Ida Heiner posing on a small box on with strings and the blue sky and clouds as the backdrop. Designer Nicolas Ghesquière fused the cosmic and the everyday, and created an optimistic, futuristic and colourful array of designs. The collection was partly inspired by marching band uniforms. And in this occasion, Louis Vuitton also reinterpreted the Since 1854 jacquard, by mixing the brand’s founding year, iconic initials and signature Monogram flowers.
