The Indonesian Contemporary Art and Design (ICAD) XI annual exhibition sheds light on the theme of the “PUBLIK” (Public) as an indispensable element to art, drawing attention and sparking discussions on how the connection between a work of art and its public can be interrelated. In contrast to its previous editions, ICAD’s 11th annual exhibition will not only take place at its main venue, which is located at grandkemang Hotel Jakarta, as organizers also teamed up with venues and curated brands at #KEMANG12730 in a celebration of design and art that is unique to and de ned by South Jakarta. The event – which ran from October 21 to November 28 – not only encompasses the exhibition in a conventional sense but also a range of public activities to attend, both physically and virtually.
