A Chromatic Life

Dior unveiled the campaign for its spring/ summer 2022 ready-to-wear collection designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri to celebrate the colourful works of Italian artist Anna Paparatti. Captured by fashion photographer Brigitte Niedermair, Dior’s creations come to life in the same hyperkinetic, chromatic spirit that Paparatti carries. Models Maryel Uchida, Steinberg, Naomi Ekindi and Sculy Mejia take Chiuri’s designs to subtly build abstract geometry graphics featuring colour blocking and set staging for the campaign. Revisited icons – a micro-version of the Lady Dior bag – and a selection of Dior Vibe models establish a unique aesthetic dialogue, while MissDior sunglasses complete these magnetic silhouettes with their ’50s allure.
