Sculptures of Light

Bvlgari introduced its latest Lvcea Intarsio in two new shades with pink mother-of-pearl and blue aventurine dials. Having introduced the novelties at this year’s LVMH Watch Week, the Roman jeweller ensures maximum chromatic effect and infuses the collection with an additional jewellery touch. With three-dimensional architectures crafted in materials that capture and enhance the light, each dial is assembled using marquetry in a pattern called Intarsio, furthering a classic métiers d’art technique applied to mother-of-pearl. The best part is that this complex and refined handcrafted construction exquisitely captures all the variations in light through the diamond hour-markers dotting the rims of these sophisticated dials.
