A Special Collaboration
Shanghai-born chef Yvonne Yuen hosted a special chef table as part of the Chinese New Year 2022 celebrations. The event was held at – and in collaboration with – Shu Cuisine and Bar, on Monday, January 24. Titled SHU X HU Private Dining, the event saw Shifu Li Zheng and Chef Yvonne Yuen present a delicious symphony of Sichuan and Shanghai dishes made using the freshest seasonal ingredients. Guests were treated to a delightful meal featuring Lohei, Abalone Bun, Mala Sea Cucumber with Okra for the appetizer course, which was then followed by Buddha Jumps Over the Wall soup and a delectable main course spread consisting of Smoked Duck, Mala Lobster, Steamed Fish with Pickled Mustard, Stir Fried Mix Vegetables, and Cold Noodle with Sea Urchin. Last but not least, Eight Treasure Rice and Jackfruit Infused Cocktail was served for dessert.
