TRIBUTE TO THE SISTERHOOD

French luxury house Dior understands that behind the house’s emblematic pieces and prominent existence in the fashion industry, there has always been an important role played by the petites-mains – a network of women supporting couture. On that note, the maison presents the Dior Union Bags as part of its Fall 2022 line. Designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, the bags are among the highlights of the collection, symbolizing the aforementioned sisterhood. The house’s iconic styles, including the Catherine tote bag and Diorchamp bag are emblazoned with the logo of Christian Dior father’s factory – a seasonal motif called L’union Fait La Force, meaning “strength through unity” in French. The pattern also serves as a strong statement to highlight the importance and power of the community, as well as the collection’s spirit. Dior Union Bags are available in two iterations, jute embroidery and fluffy macrocannage.
