Between Tradition and the Future
French luxury maison Givenchy presented its spring/summer 2022 women’s and men’s ready-to-wear collections through a private viewing. The event took place at the Givenchy Boutique in Plaza Indonesia on March 30. Designed by creative director Matthew M. Williams, the collection is informed by intensely contrasting colours, a mixture of utility and luxury, as well as silhouettes connecting classical aspects with radicality and practicality. The collection also marked the debut of the new Kenny bag, as well as the Neo-Antigona backpack. Around 30 people, including influencers and celebrities alike, were invited to the event to get up close and personal with the new pieces. Providing additional exciting activities for the invitees, Dandelion presented a nail bar station at the event.
