Beauty and Elegance Entwined
Sometimes dubbed “the Charlie’s Angels of the fashion realm,” trio designer Viena Mutia, Mayang Jasmin, and Elena Lubis founded the fashion label VI.MA.Le. And on April 11, the label launched its “Intertwined 2022” ready-to-wear collection. Hosted by Shahnaz Anindya and Nadia Purwoko, the launch event was supported Bening Luxury, premium halal skincare label Crystallure, and The Bespoke Fashion. For this event, Wyl’s Kitchen at Veranda Hotel Pakubuwono was transformed into a small runway adorned with flowers, as well as decorative crescents and stars hanging on the ceiling. The trunk show revealed a number of outers, shirts, dresses, and trousers in soft colours, in harmony with the guests’ outfits bearing earthy tones. Handmade details crafted using macrame also embellished several highlighted pieces and played as the identity of the label.
