he seminyak area on the Island of the Gods is known for its energetic ambience, vibrant community and myriad culinary, shopping and lifestyle destinations. Inspired by this melting-pot theme, Seminyak Village now offers visitors a different side to the island’s retail, lifestyle and dining scenes while creating a sense of community between patrons and tenants, a little like a close-knit Asian village.

Seminyak Village spans 6,000 square metres over two floors which house more than 30 shops and restaurants as well as 100 brands spread throughout its nooks and crannies. Inspired by Balinese traditions, the mall’s design boasts an open and airy space with natural sunlight streaming through its immense dome-like skylight.

As visitors take a step inside, they are greeted by a spacious hallway with an array of stores on each side within cool, air-conditioned environment making it the perfect place to spend time with friends and family as well as sweet respite from the tropical heat. Strategically located in the heart of Seminyak, guests can also explore the island’s most sought-after restaurants and hotels, such as The Legian Bali.

Visitors who come for much-needed retail therapy won’t be disappointed as a throng of fashion brands, both local and international, can be found here. These include Farah Khan, MCM and M Resort, all of which are renowned for their resort chic apparel. Meanwhile, Marketplace and Indonesian Emporium offer the best of Bali from fashion and accessories to beauty products showcased in open-concept retail spaces.

Visitors can satisfy their gastronomical cravings with plenty of F&B outlets, starting with Mamasan Group’s Tiger Palm, which is renowned for its Peranakan cuisine and delicious libations, and which is helmed by the award-winning chef Will Meyrick. Elsewhere, there are mini wagyu burgers at Wahrung, classic Indonesian dishes at Mrs. Lee, and even liquid nitrogen ice-cream at Nitrogenie. The mall’s dining outlets are open from 10am to 10pm. For a refreshing break from shopping and food-hopping activities, soothing treatments such as massages and facials at the gorgeous Spring Spa tucked away on the rooftop level are recommended. A pampering at Vita Luxe Nail & Beauty Bar is also a must: a full-service nail salon designed with a Parisian boudoir concept.
